Design Statement

Try your best. Have fun.

My dad said it every morning, driving me and my sister to school. I shrugged it off then,  six words said so often they turned into background noise. Now, as a young adult navigating all the chaos life likes to throw around, I find myself coming back to them more than I ever expected to.

I'm a curious creative still figuring out my place in the world, and those six words are how I move through it.

Growing up, I hated that most subjects had one right answer. I was never a "math person," and getting it wrong never felt like learning,  just failing. Art class was different. There was no single correct answer, just twenty different ones from twenty different kids, and somehow that felt more honest than anything else I was taught. In college I learned that design isn't about making things pretty. It's about solving a problem, and there's rarely just one way to solve it.

That's why I want to build brands. Branding is a problem wrapped in a story, and there's no one right answer to it,  just the truest one. That's where the fun actually lives: brainstorming, colliding your ideas with someone else's, landing on something neither of you would've found alone.

But before I can build your brand, I want to know you. Not just your goals on paper, the person behind them. Because the best brand work doesn't feel manufactured. It feels like an extension of who you already are. Something you're genuinely proud to put your name on.
